Two More Days! Running Over Cancer 5K
We can’t wait to see you this Sunday, March 23, for the 2025 Running Over Cancer 5K! We hope you are as excited as we are about coming together to support The American Cancer Society! The weather looks gorgeous, and we have been working hard to get everything in place for a fantastic race, which will take place rain or shine!
RACE DAY INFORMATION:
- The race starts at 2 p.m.
- WakeMed Soccer Park / 101 Soccer Park Drive / Cary, NC
- Park in Lot D
We are excited to announce a raffle! A $200 gift card to the Wegmans and various other goodies - compliments of local businesses - sweeten the pot. Raffle tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20, and can be purchased Sunday with cash, check, or Venmo. Every penny benefits the American Cancer Society.
In addition to the raffle, participants can enjoy a DJ, Hustle & Grind for purchase, sponsor booths, and more!
Medals will be awarded to all participants. Fleet Feet gift cards will be awarded to the top 3 male and female winners, as well as the top male and female in each age group (14under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+).

PRE-RACE INFORMATION:

Pre-Race Packet Pick Up is on Saturday, March 22, 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Fleet Feet in North Raleigh (8511 Colonnade Center Drive, Raleigh, NC 27615). Avoid the line - get your packet ahead of time.

Packet Pick Up will also be available at the ROC5K beginning at 12:30 p.m. Please arrive early if you need to pick up your packet Sunday.

If you ordered a race t-shirt with your registration, be sure to pick it up when you get your race packet! If you did not order a shirt, we will have a limited number available for purchase at both packet pick up locations. T-Shirt purchases must be made by cash, check, or Venmo.

On-site registration will be available.
WHAT TO BRING:
- Bring running/walking shoes, a hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, or any other gear you need along the trail. We will provide limited snacks and bottled water for all participants.
- Bring cash, check, credit card or Venmo for the raffle, Hustle & Grind, on-site registration, T shirt purchase, or simply to make a donation to the American Cancer Society.
